Rosanne Carr Horn, 88, of Titusville, Florida, passed away on August 27, 2026. Born on May 1, 1938, in Freeport, Ohio, Rosanne was the daughter of Frank Rocco and Barbara Haley. She spent most of her life in Morgan County, Ohio, eventually settling in Chesterhill after marrying her first husband, Danny Carr, in 1954. After his passing in 1996, she moved to Titusville, Florida, where she later met and married her second husband, Paul Horn. Rosanne was a homemaker who found joy in life’s simple pleasures—bowling, boating, and fishing among them. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events throughout the years. In her later years, she enjoyed exploring the country while traveling in her RV. Her deep love for animals was a defining part of her life; having rescued many throughout her lifetime. Some of her fondest memories were of growing up on her grandparents’ farm in Stockport, Ohio, a place that shaped her love of animals and lifelong appreciation for nature. Rosanne is preceded in death by her parents; her first and second husbands; her son, Bradley Morgan Carr; and her sister, Patty Harber. She is survived by her children: Barry (Rhonda) Carr of Chesterhill, Ohio; Sidney (Amber) Carr of Titusville, Florida; and Angela (Michael) Ward of Glen Allen, Virginia. She leaves behind seven grandchildren—Carletta Bennett of Sanford, Florida; Colette Steiger of Centerville, Ohio; Clinton Carr of Buffalo, New York; Gabriel Carr of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Danny Carr of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; Allison Carr of Titusville, Florida; and Sami Bleakley of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Colin and Emily Bennett; Sebastian and Sloane Steiger; and Poppy and Calvin Bleakley. Additionally, Rosanne is survived by her sister, Kim Wilson of Stockport, Ohio, and her brother, Kenny Rocco of Parma, Ohio. A graveside service will be held in Ohio at the Chesterhill Cemetery on October 17th at 10:00 AM, with a celebration of her life to follow at the Chesterhill Gymnasium.
