Roy Drummond, 39 of Stockport, died on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 12:30 P.M. at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 23, 1974 in Warren, Ohio to Frank and Delphia Peters Drummond. Roy worked as a nursing assistant for the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville and was an avid Bingo player. He is survived by his father Frank Drummond of Warren, wife Joy Mayle Drummond of the home, 1 son, Stephon Drummond of the home, 1 daughter, Brooklyn Drummond of the home, 1 step-daughter, Amber Young of Jackson, 4 brothers, Frankie Drummond of Warren, John Drummond of Niles, Tim Drummond of Stockport, Donald Drummond of McConnelsville and 1 sister, Connie Drummond of Stockport. He is preceded in death by his mother. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill to help with funeral costs.
