Roy Lee Welch, 73, of Malta, Ohio passed away on Sun, April 16, 2023 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  He was born on Nov. 4, 1949 in Corning, Ohio to the late Hughie and Rosa Rodgers Welch.  He worked for the Cesco-Ferro Corp in Crooksville.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Welch of the home, a son, Paul (Cal) Mullen of Melbourne, FL, a daughter, Kristi (Jim) Vincent of Malta, a sister, Judy Williamson of Crooksville, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Theodore and Lloyd Welch.  A caring cremation is taking place at his request.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements for the family.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
