Rozella Lewis Parsons Wise, age 85, of Amesville, Ohio died Sunday, January 27, 2013 , at 10:02 a.m. at the Highland Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was born April 8 1927 in Sharpsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Thompson Lewis. She attended the Mt. Hermon Community Church, was a member of the Happy Knotters Quilters Club in Elliott's Crossroads, and the Marion Rebekah Lodge in Chesterhill. She was a mental health counselor for the Athens Mental Health Center and the Washington D.C. Children's Center for the Handicapped where she retired from the Federal Government. Surviving are 2 sons: Jeffery(Kathy) Parsons of Chillicothe, Ohio and David (Penny) Parsons of Jefferson MD.; 3 daughters: Linda(Jim) Robertson of Louisburg, N.C., Robin McGhee of Annapolis, MD., and Susan Lewis of Bartlett, Ohio.; I brother: Butch(Carol) Lewis of Chesterhill, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, Rozella was preceded in death by her husbands: Gail Parsons and Frederick Wise, 1 daughter: Shirley Perine Smith, 1 granddaughter: Kimberly McGhee, 1 son-in-law: Jim McGhee, 3 brother and 1 sister. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2103 at 11:00 a.m. in Chesterhill at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home . Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
