Ruben F. Richards, 89, of Cutler, passed away, Sun. Aug. 2, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1937, to the late George and Velda Smith Richards in Grantsville W.V. He was a laborer and team leader at Cardex Systems and was a farmer. He is survived by 2 daughters, Carolyn Nichols and Kathi Arthur; a sister, Ann Schied; sister-in-law, Lois McAtee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Wygal Richards; 2 sons, Bill and Michael Richards; several siblings; and 2 brothers-in-law, Cecil Wygal and Dana McAtee. A Graveside Service will be held Thur. Aug. 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Bartlett Cemetery, with Deacon Mike White officiating, along with therapy dog, Princess Faye.
