Russell L. North  84, of Glouster, passed away August 18, 2018 at his home. He was born July 18, 1934 in Bristol Township, Morgan County  the son of the late Melvin North and Ethel Roberts North. He worked at Bartlett Tree Service, Clemens Sohio, Phil Wise Chevrolet, and worked at Burr Oak State Park for the ODNR. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lemon of McConnelsville, and Carol Dearstine of McConnelsville; son, Rusty North of Ringgold; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; two sisters, Shirley (Robert) Finley of Malta, and Diana (Bill) Boyd of Stockport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hosom North who died in 1988; one brother, Lee North; and sisters, Flossie Newsom and Carrie Lyon. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Galen Finley  officiating. He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery near Stockport beside his wife.
