Ruth M. Tomlinson Johnson, 84, of Malta, died on Weds. December 10, 2014 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on Nov. 7, 1930 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late C-Roy and Ozilla Martin Tomlinson. She worked as a Register Nurse for over 35 years for the Genesis Home Care in Zanesville. She attended the Stockport United Methodist Church, a member of the Elks #543 in Nelsonville and a life member of the VFW Aux. in Malta. She is survived by her husband Ralph L. Johnson of the home, 2 sons Danny Johnson of Copley, Ohio and Gary Johnson of Malta, 1 daughter, Janice Bullock of Malta, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Allan Johnson, 1 daughter, Linda Hornacek, 1 brother, Paul, 2 sisters, Mary and Millie and 1 granddaughter, Lisa. Services will be held on Sat. December 13, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Rev. Richard Purvis officiating. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the service.
