Ruth A. Moore, 92, of 1052 North Main St. Malta passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 10:58 p.m. at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was born June 17, 1917 in Morgan County to the late Alfred Glass and Florence Harrison Glass.

Ruth was a homemaker and was a member of the Wolf Creek Church Of Christ and also attended the Seventh Street Church Of Christ in McConnelsville.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Palmer of Malta; a sister, Juanita Fitch of McConnelsville; two grandchildren, Jo Ellen Erwin of Crooksville and Jeff Palmer of Buckeye Lake; and four great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband, Russell N. Moore; and a brother, Cecil Glass.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the MILLER-HUCK FUNERAL HOME in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be Monday, November 16,2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the burial in Malta Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.com
