Ruth E. Wilfong, 71, of Chesterhill, passed away on Weds. June 5, 2019 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on Oct. 7, 1947 in Joy, Ohio to the late Floyd and Eura Kirkpatrick Wilfong. She was a caregiver for local kids and elderly adults in need. She attended Liberty United Brethren Church near Chesterhill. She is survived by a son, Brad Wilfong of Chesterhill, a sister, Dolly Stoh of Peyton Colorado and 3 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Teresa Wilfong, 2 sisters, Nancy and Virginia 2 brothers, Jack and Robert. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 5-7 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will take place in the Chesterhill Cemetery at a later date.
