Sandra Kay Shaner, 63, of McConnelsville, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born on May 6, 1955 in Columbus to the late James and Susanne McGarvey Davis. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 4713 Ladies Aux in Malta. She is survived by her husband, James Shaner of the home, a son, Isaac Raver of McConnelsville, 4 daughters, Susie Davis of Columbus, Zana Counterman of Malta, Alyssa Izzo of Zanesville and Edna Ramirez of Malta, a brother, James Davis Jr. of Somerset, 2 sisters, Patricia Davis and Donna Coleman both of Reedsville, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 3-6 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
