Sarah Margaret Mosier, 70, of 1740 Mill Street, Chesterhill, died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 9:45 am at the Riverside Country Care Center surrounded by her family. She was born December 22, 1939 in Pennsville to the late John and Freda (Hooper) Medley. She retired from Southeast Psychiatric Hospital in 1994 where she was employed for 31 years. She was also employed at Ohio University in Athens and most recently for the Morgan Local School District. Margaret was a devoted member of the Chesterhill United Methodist Church where she served as Secretary for many years. She also helped with VBS and the Thrift Shop. She was a member of the Choir and Past President of the Chesterhill United Methodist Women. She belonged to the LaCherie Petite Guild of OCCL and the Morgan County Federation of OCCL since 1982. She held all offices of both organizations. She was an avid bowler. Margaret was always willing to lend a helping hand to all, whenever and wherever she was needed. Surviving are her husband Calvin (Earl) Mosier, whom she married on August 9th, 1958; two sons, Donald (Linda) Mosier of McConnelsville, and Duane (Crystal) Mosier of Spring Hill, Tennessee; a daughter, Sonda McInturf of McConnelsville; three granddaughters, Madison Mosier of McConnelsville, Darah and Caitlin McInturf of McConnelsville; one step-granddaughter, Kayla Bradford; and one step-grandson, Michael Sawyer. She is also survived by four sisters, Martha Harlow of McConnelsville, Marilyn (Gene) Parsons and Muriel (Dick) McGrew of Chesterhill, and Mary (Cletus) Miller of Middlebury, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Darin Lee Mosier. Services will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following at the Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 4-7p.m. at the funeral home.
