Scott Allen Mayle, 51, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born on Oct. 12, 1965 in Columbus to the late Wayne W. and Delores Jane Dickenson Mayle. He worked for the Social Security Office in Newark where he reviewed SSI Claims and then retired from Kemper Insurance Company where he worked in the claims dept. He was a member of the Cypress Wesleyan Church in Galloway, Ohio and was an avid sports fan loving the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys and the OSU Buckeyes. He is survived by 3 brothers, Eric Dickenson, Brian Mayle and Blaine Mayle all of Columbus and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt Hermon Church near Amesville, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 on the day of the funeral. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
