Shane A. Ross, 42, of New Philadelphia passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019  at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. He was born December 2, 1976 in Marietta. He worked as a truck parts manufacturer for A.R.E. in Dundee, Ohio. Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was an avid Michigan and Denver Broncos fan.  He is survived by his wife, Shannon Koontz Ross whom he married on October 14, 2018; two daughters, Ashlee Mansfield and Hailee Mansfield; mother Kay Loraine Foster Ross of  McConnelsville; seven brothers, Shawn, Brien, Chris, Brady, Brent, James, and Tim.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Ross. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m.with Chaplin Terry Wilcox officiating. After the service at Shane's request a caring cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the O.S.U. Hospital Oncology or the Community Hospice.
