Sharon N. Bear, 70, of McConnelsville, passed away on Mon, Aug. 15, 2022 at the Ohio State Hospital in Columbus.  She was born on Sept. 9, 1951 in Los Angeles, Ca to the late Ronald and Erlene Wobick Bear.  She was a member of the 7th Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville, the Sunshine Gang 4-H Club, Morgan County Special Olympics Team and helped with the Horse Therapy Club and Art Studio in McConnelsville.  She is survived by 3 brothers, Robert Bear of Michigan, Odowan Bear of Ameila, Oh and Samuel Bear of Oregon, a sister, Erlene Raines of New Richmond, Oh and 13 nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Services will be held on Sat, Aug. 20, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  Friends may call on the family from 11-1 on the day of the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
