Sharon M. Sears 74, of Lewis Center, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Lewis Center on August 13, 2021. She was born August 20, 1946 in Zanesville the daughter of the late, Gale Kuntz and Eloise Ferguson Kuntz. Sharon received an Associates degree in Nursing from Ohio University and worked at Mark Rest Center in McConnelsville and Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was a member of the Morgan County Republican Women. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Polk of Lewis Center; and a son, Robert Sears of McConnelsville; two grandchildren, Hannah and Marie-Chantel Polk; one sister, Karol (Daniel) Downs of McConnelsville. The family would like to thank her special friends, Barb Singer and Rita Stepp for their care and support. Friends may call 10 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Burial of her ashes will be in McConnelsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Humane Society.
