Shawn Allen Skellett, 47, of Chesterhill, passed away on Sat. Jan. 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born on July 18, 1971 in Circleville, Ohio to Steve Skellett and Karen Dollison. He owned and operated Rustic Creations and Restoration where he remodeled old barns and log cabins. He served his country in the Army National Guard and attended the Todd's Church in Todds. He was also a member of the National Historical Society. He is survived by his Father, Steve Skellett of Stewart, mother, Karen Dollison of Jasper, Al, wife Sarah McCune Skellett of the home, a son, Michael Skellet of Chesterhill, a daughter, Amanda Abbott of Jasper, Al, 2 step-daughters, Nevada Qualls and Maddison Qualls both of Chesterhill, 2 brothers, Robert Skellett of Guysville and Ryan Skellett of Stewart, 2 sisters, Sarah Thornton of Jasper, Al and Elizabeth Fisher of Stewart and 2 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a step-son, Tyler Qualls. A visitation will be held on Friday.
