Shelia G. Sermon, 61 of Stockport, died on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her sisters home surrounded by her family. She was born on Nov. 22, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to Merlin and Virginia McCoy Millican and was a Baptist by faith. She is survived by her husband, Rowlie Sermon of Stockport, 1 son, Merlin Sermon of Stockport, 1 daughter, Jenny Peters of Stockport, 1 brother, Michael Millican of Columbus, 5 sisters, Jane Tamulevich of Columbus, Regina Taylor of Malta, Bridget McGrew of McConnelsville, Jody McGrew of McConnelsville and Krystal Millican of Columbus and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, and a nephew Bobby Tamulevich. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Toby Cambron officiating. Burial will follow in the Malta Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the funeral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
