Sheron G. Goins, 62 of Stockport, died on Weds., May 22, 2013 at 5:30 A.M. at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1951 in Chesterhill to George and Helen Mayle Goins. He worked for Randolf and O'Reily in Columbus as a concrete laborer and was a Christian by faith. He is survived by his mother, Helen Mayle Goins of Chesterhill, 2 sons, Tyson Butcher of Chesterhill and Eric Goins of Stockport, 1 daughter, Erica Goins of Stockport, 1 brother, Rickie Goins of Chesterhill, 6 sisters, Patty Guinther of Bartlett, Ellen Goins of Columbus, Betty Scott of Columbus, Almeda Smith of Columbus, Tina Goins of Amesville and Shena Lynn Pippens of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his father, 1 son, Sheron Jr., 1 daughter, Katrina, 2 brothers, Malcom and Donald Goins, and 4 sisters, Rita, Freda, Paula and Dianna Goins. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Charles Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
