Shirley K. Fleming, 78, of Chesterhill, died on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on Oct. 19, 1936 in Chesterhill to the late Fred M. and Mabel Bowman Howard. She worked as a Nurses Aide for various nursing centers in Morgan County retiring from Fairview Manor in Beverly and was a Methodist by faith. She is survived by 2 sons, Terry A. Fleming and Stephen M. Fleming (Julie Brooker) both of Chesterhill, 1 brother, John (Beverly) Howard of Chesterhill, 1 sister, Patricia Howard of Gahanna, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Betty Howard of Wooster, dear friend Mary "Mickey" Molter of Gahanna, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Carl Howard, 1 sister, Marilyn Howard, granddaughter, Jessica Fleming and grandson, Brandon Fleming. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will follow in the Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 5-8 P.M.
