Leland A. "Skip" Love, 69, of Stockport, died on Weds, May 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 22, 1945 in Quailey Ohio near Cutler to the late Leland G. and Kathleen Wilcoxen Love. He was a truck driver for Tom Mayle and Sons Construction in Bartlett. He was a member of the Beverly American Legion and Eagles. He served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Shook Love, 1 son, Leland B. (Sherri) Love of Grove City, 1 daughter, Sherri (Gary) Gorrell of Georgetown, Kentucky, 2 brothers, Dave (Cheryl) Love of Bartlett and Doug (Sharon) Love of Marietta, 3 sisters, Ellen Foreman of Bartlett, Jean (Don) Brothers of North Carolina and Becky (Marty) LeCroy of North Carolina and 5 grandchildren, Raegan, Carter, Stone, Scotty and Brianna. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 son Danny. A caring cremation is taking place at his request and a memorial service will be held at a later date and time. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
