Steven R. Swank, 67 of Malta, passed away on Sat, Sept. 13, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on Oct. 1, 1957 in Marrietta, Ohio to Don and Ina Law Swank.  He retired from Gould Inc. where he worked in the foil division.  He is survived by his parents, Don and Ina Swank of Dale, a son, Wesley (Shannon) Swank of Hilliard, a daughter, Bridgett (Jason) Sowards of Summerville, South Carolina, 2 brothers, Bob Swank of Columbus and Mike Swank of McConnelsville, 5 grandchildren, Kylyn, Kamira, Kaiya, Zachary and Daniel and a great grandson, Keldyn.  He is preceded in death by his brother Donald Swank.   Steve loved to spend time with his family and grandkids.  A graveside service will be held on Tues, Sept. 16, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dale Cemetery.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.
