Susan "Susie" Rush, 84, of Chesterhill, passed away on Sat. May 20, 2017 at the Riverside Landing Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on Nov. 13, 1932 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late William Ed and Reathel Mayle Kennedy. She worked as a house cleaner and loved raising her children. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Chesterhill, McConnelsville Bowling League, TOPS, Morgan County Senior Citizens and very active in all of the kid's school activities. She also loved to go play Bingo and Scratch off Lottery tickets. She is survived by 5 sons, Robert (Susan) Rush, Larry Rush, Gary Rush all of Chesterhill, Joey (Jane) Rush of Amesville and Ryan (Lisa) Rush of Chesterhill, 1 daughter, Patricia (Tret) Norris of Chesterhill, 1 brother, Bill Kennedy of Chesterhill, 1 sister, Shirley Rush of Chesterhill, 10 grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Rush, a son, Steven Rush, 3 brothers, Buck, James and John Kennedy and 2 sisters, Rose Mayle and Nancy Dalton. Services will be held on Weds, May 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Hermon Church near Amesville. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Tues, May 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and 1 hour prior to the services at the church. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chesterhill Fire Dept. of the Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle.
