Susie Valentine, 51 of Pennsville, died on Weds, Feb. 19, 2014 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on April 2, 1962 in Zanesville to the late Herbert Ehrnfield and Mae Anderson Stotts. She worked cleaning and remodeling houses and attended the Church of Full Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville. She is survived by her husband, Ray Valentine of the home, 2 sons, David Sowers of Marietta and Zeb Sowers of Oregon, 2 daughters, Melinda Sowers of Oregon and Amber Valentine of Marietta, 5 brothers, Harry Ehrnfield of Zanesville, Eugene Bryant of Zanesville, Bobby Newton of Cannelville, Herbie Newton of Zanesville and Timothy Newton of Zanesville, 3 sisters, Big Sue Ehrnfield of Zanesville, Kitten Contreras of Tucson and Holley Sorce of Tucson and 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, Feb 20 from 6-8 P.M.
