Tammie Lorraine Hopstetter, 51, of Chesterhill, died on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at 1:54 P.M. at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was born on March 26, 1962 in Chesterhill to Harley (Bud) and Carolyn Mayle Hill. She graduated from Morgan High School and attended Hocking College. She was a housewife/homemaker and worked at Energizer Battery in Marietta for 11 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in McConnelsville. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Hopstetter of the home, parents, Harley (Bud) and Carolyn Mayle Hill of Chesterhill, mother-in-law, Sally Hopstetter of Nelsonville, 1 son, Alexander Hopstetter of Chesterhill, 1 daughter, Savannah Hopstetter (James Goins) of Chesterhill, 1 brother, Timothy (Regina) Hill of Chesterhill, 2 sisters, Terri (Terry "JC") Lowers of Little Hocking and Trina (Brent) Jones of Chesterhill, 1 nephew, Josiah, 3 nieces, Amy, Rachel and Meleah and 1 granddaughter, Jayla. Services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pat Gast officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
