Terry E. Harris, 76, of Stockport, passed away on Weds. Jan 2, 2019 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on Dec. 4, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Earl F. and Helen M. Banfield Harris. He retired from Alcatel-Lucent Technology in Columbus where he was a computer programmer. He was a Methodist by Faith and a member of the American Legion Post # 283 in Pickerington. He is survived by his son Brian L. Harris of Stockport, a stepson, Bill Hartman of Philo, 2 stepdaughters, Beth Zaayer of Stockport and Barbara Grant of West Virginia, 6 sisters, Wanda Marshall of Grandville, Joyce Hanson of Pittsburg, Ca, Carol Baldwin of Zanesville, Ida Lussier of Philo, Nancy Fitz of Bradenton, Fl and Lois Gohring of Blue Rock, and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol Hill Harris and 2 brothers, Ronald and Steven Harris. A caring cremation is taking place at his wishes.
