Thomas A. "Tom" Russell, 57, of Malta, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta.

He was born December 27, 1955, in Indianapolis, IN.

Mr. Russell served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the VFW Post No. 4713 of Malta.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beth Malone Russell; mother, Lula Mae Shaw Russell of Hollister; three daughters, Jenny Mae of Nelsonville, Penny Jo of Lancaster, and Sheri Lee of Pennsylvania; three sons, Thomas Arthur II, Kevin Allen, and Sean Casy all of Malta; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Ron Russell and Mike Russell, both of Hollister, and Jack Russell of Killen, TX.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Raymond L. Russell, and a brother, Darrell Russell.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.

At Tom's request, a caring cremation will take place after the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
