Thomas E. Hunter, 68 of McConnelsville, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 4:10 a.m. at his home. He was born on June 29 1940 in Haydenville, Ohio to the late William and Myrtle Wolf Hunter. He was a laborer at Taylor Woodcraft in Malta. He is survived by a special friend Patty J. Forester of the home, Two sons, Tommy Hunter of Indiana, Terry Hunter of Texas, five daughters, Patty Duff of McConnelsville, Rosemary Welch of Pennsville, Cecilia Wogan of Chesterhill, Sue Ellen Clark of LaPorte IN., and Tiffany Dunwoody of Zanesville, two brothers, Bill and Fred Hunter both of McConnelsville, four sisters, Norma Spencer and Wanda Mae Owens both of McConnelsville, Rosemary Duncan of Hackney, and Brenda Duncan of Stockport, and several grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, five brothers, Jack, Darrel, Richard, Herb, and Jerry Hunter, and one sister, Sandra Hunter. Services will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1:00p.m at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville, burial will follow at the Meigs Cemetery.
