Thomas C. Pettet 63, of Malta, passed away at 11:00 a.m. August 23, 2014 at his home. He was born November 17, 1950 in Perry County the son of the late Floyd Pettet and Addie Belle Rodgers Pettet. He was a coalminer and member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by sons Gary (Tammy) Pettet of Moxahala ; Scott (Angie) Pettet of McConnelsville;Vance Pettet of Tridelphia; Nial Eltringham of Malta; seven grandchildren; sisters Minnie Pettet of Malta and Addie Belle Niceswanger of Malta; brothers Burrell Pettet , Floyd (Henry) Pettet ; Donald (Jake ) Pettet; and Arvin Pettet all of Malta. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Following visitation cremation will take place.
