Timothy W. Scholl, 77, of McConnelsville passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at his home. He was born May 23, 1946 in Zanesville a son of the late, Ted Scholl and Romaine Lang Scholl. Tim was a 1964 graduate of Rosecrans High School and attended Ohio University- Zanesville. He began his banking career working for City Loan from 1967-1973. He then started working for the First National Bank of McConnelsville where he worked for over 38 years. He served on the Board of Directors of First National Bank for many years. Tim was a veteran of the U. S. Army Reserves and served in the 342nd Military Police Unit out of Zanesville. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville, a former member of the M. & M. Jaycees and the M. & M. Rotary Club. Tim also was a former member of the Morgan County Airport Authority. After retiring from banking, he got his CDL and drove for Finley Fire Equipment and Dave's Landscaping. He enjoyed wood working, welding, and was a former pilot. Tim is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Stine Scholl whom he married November 18, 1967. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria Ann Scholl. Calling hours will be Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Tim will be laid to rest in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Zanesville. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #24 Color Guard. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.com
