Tony W. Cunningham, 57, of Hockingport, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the O'Blenness Hospital in Athens following a long illness. He was born on September 16, 1953 in Parkersburg West Virginia. He is survived by his Mother, Sylvia Mayle of Athens, three sons, Trevor Cunningham of Malta, Joseph and Steven Cunningham both of Grove City, one daughter, Ashley Cunningham of Westerville, two brothers, Randy (Debbie) Cunningham of Chesterhill, and Jeff Cunningham of Canton, one sister, Cindy Mayle of Athens, and special friends, Emma Decker and children, Charlie, Rob, George, Maffin, Shari Woods, Andrea and Amanda Decker, and friends Charlie and Jeff Cremeans, Jason Place, Gary McGrath, and others to numerous to mention. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Cunningham, and one son Tony Jr. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Haga Cemetery near Stewart with Pastor J. R. Walker officiating. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
