Travis Flowers Male, 66, of Amesville, died on Mon. Nov. 16, 2015 in Columbus. She was born on Oct. 22, 1949 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Earl and Lucy Belle Mayle Flowers. She retired from the Ohio University in Athens after 12 years. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Athens. She is survived by 2 brothers, Terry R. "Turk" Flowers of McConnelsville and Kenny (Ellen) Flowers of Amesville, 3 sisters, Ella "Chris" and Steve Patterson of Columbus, Tracy (David) Binegar of Covington, Louisiana and Kelly Flowers of Chesterhill and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kurt Male and 2 brothers, Phillip "Bill" and Jerry "Jake" Flowers. Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt Hermon Church near Amesville with Pastor J.R. Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home.
