Tyler Drake Qualls, 23, of Chesterhill, passed away on Sat. Dec. 8, 2018. He was born on March 20, 1995 in Marietta, Ohio to Sarah McCune Skellett. He worked out of the Laborer Union # 1085 in Parkersburg and was working at the Willow Island Power Plant. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He attended the Todds Church with his family. He is survived by his biological father, Richie Lee Smith of Bartlett, his father that raised him, Forest Qualls of Middleport, Mother and step-father, Sarah (Shawn) Skellett of Chesterhill, 2 sisters, Nevada and Maddison Qualls of the home, step-brother, Michael Skellett of the home, half sister, Ashlee Pritt of Bartlett, maternal grandparents, Bob and Sally McCune of Todds and paternal grandmother, Marcia Qualls of Middleport. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Qualls. Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
