Ulda Mae Woodyard, 101 of Pennsville, died on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Center in McConnelsville. She was born in Marion Township near Chesterhill on June 25, 1912 to the late Charles and Rosa Mosier Newton. She was a house wife and a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle Church near Chesterhill and the Fairview Grange. She is survived by 2 sons, Melvin Woodyard of Pickerington and Marvin Woodyard of Reynoldsburg, 1 daughter, Velma Potteiger of Malta, 1 sister, Wilda Davis of Columbus, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Jesse B. Woodyard, 5 brothers, Charles, George, Earl, Kenneth and 1 infant brother and 4 sisters, Rhoda Newton, Clara Howard, Sylvia Carney and Ola McInturf. Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor J.R. Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery near Chesterhill. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, March 5 from 5-8 P.M.
