Virgil Leroy Cobb, 70, of Columbus, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Manor Care Of Westerville. He was born July 30, 1940 in Coal Run, Ohio to the late Bud and Clara Cobb. He was a retired asbestos worker and an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Annetta Irene Fleming Cobb; two daughters, Daphne Lynn Mowery of Belle Valley and Cathy Ann Muhammad of Columbus; a son, Virgil Leroy Cobb II of Columbus; grandson, Brandon Cobb; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Dean (Sue) Cobb, Walter (Shirley) Cobb and Ivan Cobb; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Irene Cobb; several neices and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by two brothers Earl and Ralph Cobb and a granddaughter Tea' Muhammad. He will be truly and deeply missed. A caring cremation will take place.
