Vivian F. Davis, 94, of Zanesville, formerly of Malta, passed away on Mon, Nov. 20, 2023 at the Willow Haven Nursing Home in Zanesville.  She was born on Aug. 8, 1929 in Pennsville, Oh to the late Olin and Ruth Bachelor Davis.  She worked for the Tatman and Matheney Funeral Homes in McConnelsville.  She was a faithful member of the 7th Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville.  She is survived by her brother, Terry (lora) Davis of Dover, Niece Treasa Melock of Davisburg, Mi a nephew, Mark Davis of Dover and three special people she thought of as her own Steve (Lynn) Carrel of Zanesville, Brad (Becky) Carrel of Zanesville and Marci Carrel of Mumbai India.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Donald Davis and a sister, Nelda Davis.  Services will be held on Mon, Nov. 27, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Pennsville Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 7th Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
