Warren V. Lovsey, 88, of Stockport, passed away Fri. Feb 13, 2026, at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. He was born May 1, 1937, to the late George and Hazel Byers Lovsey in Millfield, OH. He loved stock car racing and farming. He is survived by 5 sons, Steve Lovsey of Barberton, Owen Lovsey of Florida, John Lovsey of Cleveland, Daniel Lovsey of Barberton, and Vernon Lovsey of Barberton; 3 daughters, Apreal Eckert of Stockport, June Campbell of McConnelsville, and Lynette Wiley of Doylestown; brother, Chuck Lovsey of Piketon; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Marie and Mildred Lovsey, Betty Phillips, Shirley Dean, and Esther Barrowman; and 3 brothers, George, Jack, and Dick Lovsey. Graveside service will be held Thurs. Feb. 19, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Hilltop Cemetery, 9905 McDougal Rd., Millfield, OH. 45761. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling arrangements.
