Wayne W. Mayle, 72, of Columbus, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1:05 P.M. at his residence. He was born on November 25, 1939 in Chesterhill, Ohio to the late Dayton and Pauline Smith Mayle. He was in the plumbing and excavating business and attended the Community Christian Church in Columbus. He is survived by three sons, Brian Mayle of Columbus, Scott Mayle of Columbus, and Blaine Mayle of Columbus, one step-son, Eric Dickinson of Columbus, two brothers, Ronald Mayle of Canton and Charles Mayle of Columbus, two sisters, Margaret Walker of Columbus, Sandra Burke of Zanesville and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Delores Dickinson Mayle, one brother, Emmett Mayle and two sisters, Iva Mayle and Wilma Tabler. Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Hermon Church near Amesville with Pastor Eugene Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M and one hour prior to the services at the church. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
