William Blake Matheny, 56, of Guysville, passed away on Sun, Dec. 21, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.  He was born on May 17, 1969 in Athens to William and Marcella Fravee Matheny.  He worked as a carpenter building and remodeling houses and enjoyed his family, working on old cars, and building things.  He is survived by his mother, Marcella Matheny of Glouster, his wife of 21 years, Robin Mayle Matheny of the home, 4 sons, William (Nichole) Matheny of Guysville, Christopher (Marie) Matheny of Glouster, John (Hannah) Matheny of Glouster and Marcus (Haylea) Dille of McConnelsville, 3 daughters, Heather Matheny of McConnelsville, Alexis Dille of Chesterhill and Destiny (Brandon) Middy of Stockport, 2 brothers, Anthony (Lisa) Matheny of Albany and James (Mandy) Matheny of Glouster, 2 sisters, Michelle (Joseph) Vincent of New Straightsville and Dianna (Ralph) Mingus of Glouster, 9 grandchildren and 1 on the way and his best friend David Tracy of Guysville.  He is preceded in death by his father and friend Todd Wingett.  Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling a caring cremation for the family.
