William L. Bonzar, 78, of Somerset, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on April 24, 1942 in Bristol, Ohio to the late William Bonzar Sr. and Mary Lucille Moore Kirky.  He is survived by 2 daughters, Leah Bonzar of Sarasota, Fl and Kristin Reid of Scotland, a half-brother, Daniel Bonzar of Lorain and a sister, Brenda Kirkey of Lancaster.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Kelly and a sister Lorain.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 11-12 P.M. at the New Lexington Baptist Church with burial following in the Maplewood Cemetery.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
