William C. "Bill" Matheney, 75, of McConnelsville passed away at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday April 12,2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. He was born March 8, 1942 in Buffalo, Ohio to the late Joseph Matheney and Reva Hill Matheney. Bill was a retired truck driver and was a member of The Church Of The Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carolyn George Matheney; a son, William Joseph Matheney of McConnelsville; a brother, Paul Matheney of Caldwell; and a grandchild, Cheyenne Marie Matheney of Stockport. Calling hours will be Monday, April 17, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at The Church Of The Gospel Ministry. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
