William “Billy” Croston, 75, of Chesterhill, passed away Wed. Jan. 28, 2026 at his residence. He was born Nov. 5, 1950 to the late George Croston and Lucy Bell Warner in Chesterhill, OH. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Republic Steel in Canton and retired from Kraton after 25 years. He attended Liberty Church and loved fishing and coaching the local youth. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maricia Hill Croston of the home; 2 sons, Nemo and Joey Croston both of Chesterhill; 2 brothers, David and Roger Croston both of Canton; 2 sisters, Bonnie Johnson and Shirley Higgins both of Canton; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Croston. Funeral service will be Tues. Feb. 3, 2026 at Mt. Hermon Church in Amesville at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Andrew Mayle officiating.
