William T. "Bill" Day 86, of McConnelsville passed away at 10:10 a.m. May 6, 2015 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born October 28, 1928 in Powhatan Point, Ohio the son of the late Paul Day and Mildred McFadden Day. He was a Korean war veteran where he was a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Force.He had a B.A. Degree in Education from Ohio University, and a Masters and Doctorate of Education from Xavier University.He was a Biology teacher at Gahanna Lincoln High School and was in Gahanna Lincoln Hall of Fame, Morgan High School principle from 1970 to 1981. He was a former Mason and Shriner and member of McConnelsville City Council. He is survived by his wife Suzanne Adrean Day , son Stormi (Diane) Day , step sons Doug (Anne) Wise and Richard Wise , grandchildren Autumn and Raini Day, sister Ethyl Lynn Mitchell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Sarah Fellabaum Day and a son Raini L. Day. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
