William V Geddes, 66 of Columbus formerly of Pennsville, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:00a.m. at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Pennsville on June 17, 1943 to the late Wayne and Sheila Bailey Geddes. He was a television Technician and supervisor for the Sears and Roebuck Company in Columbus. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Reynoldsburg and the Gahanna V.F.W. He is survived by one daughter, Shannon Geddes of Columbus, one brother, Dewey Geddes of Zanesville, and a grandson William Geddes. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Shawn Geddes and two brothers, Duane and Dow. Services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2:30p.m. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following at the Pennsville Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 12:30 to 2:30p.m.
