William L. "Bill" McDaniel 82, of McConnelsville, passed away at 12:24 p.m. January 6, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born March 1, 1939 in Morgan County the son of the late, Leonard McDaniel and Loretta McPeak. He was an electrical lineman and a member of IBEW Local 71 of electrical workers. He loved to turkey hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife, Martha Gibeaut McDaniel; sons, Trent McDaniel and Troy (Wanda) McDaniel; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis (Ralph) Lockwood, Mickey Allen;  brother, Danny(Susie) Coler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tracy McDaniel; three sisters, Rosalie Murphy, Linda Finley and Sherry Shriver. At Bill's request, a cremation will take place.
