MAYLE William Neal "Nick" Mayle, 82, of Columbus, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born on June 6, 1928 in Waterford, Ohio to the late Charles and Mable Hill Mayle. He was a construction worker in the Columbus area and belonged to the International Laborers Union #423. He attended the Christ Memorial Church in Columbus and was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. He is survived by two sons, Marvin (Jan) Mayle of Carroll and Rodney (Joan) Mayle of Columbus; four daughters, Yvonne (Paul) Tate of Canal Winchester, Gloria (Errol) Mayle of Cutler, Rochelle Curfman of Canal Winchester, and Patty (Mike) Payne of Columbus; one sister, Kathryn Ramsey of Canton; 15 grandchildren and 29 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ellen (Mark) Wager and Linda (Doug) Witmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 50 years Rose Mayle, four brothers, two sisters, and a special friend Juanita Greene. Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Mt. Hermon Church, near Amesville, OH, at 1 p.m. with Brother Matt Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
