William V. "Ick" Norris, age 63 of Chesterhill, Ohio passed away at 10:58 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born December 11, 1950 in Chesterhill, a son of the late Jay W. and Garnet Norris. Bill was a graduate of Morgan High School and held an Associates Degree in Engineering from Zane State University. He was a Service Technician for Columbia Gas of Ohio. He is survived by his wife Debby Mayle Norris, 2 daughters, Mariah and Jade Norris both of Chesterhill, 2 brothers, Roger (Lois) Norris of Chesterhill and Jeff (Vicki) Norris of McConnelsville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 infant sons Cody and Colton and 1 half brother, Bobby. Services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will follow in the Mt Hermon Cemetery near Amesville.
