William P. Riggs, 62, of Beverly, passed away on Fri, Sept. 13, 2024 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on Aug. 17, 1962 in Beverly, Ohio to the late James and Frances Allen Riggs.  He worked for several years for King's Automotive in McConnelsville.  He is survived by 2 sons, Jessie (Tiffany) Riggs of Stockport and Jerrod (Brenda) Kidd of McConnelsville, a daughter, Elizabeth Lavigne of New Hampshire, a brother, Gary (Jodi) Riggs of McConnelsville, a sister, Brenda (Rodger) Walter of McConnelsville and 4 grandchildren, Kenzie and Abby Riggs, Colton Kidd and Abby Lavigne.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vickie Kleinert.  Services will be held on Tues, Sept 17 at 7:00 P.M.at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  Friends may call on the family from 5-7 P.M.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
