Anna M. Rowland

Anna M. Hook Rowland, 63, of McConnelsville, passed away on Thurs, Aug. 17, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on June 10, 1960 in Zanesville, Ohio to Andy and Florence Fellabaum Hook.  She worked as a cook at the Mark Rest Center and then retired from Highland Oaks Nursing Home.  She was a member of the M&M Vol. Emergency Squad for many years and was a big supporter of Morgan Athletics.  She is survived by her father Andy Hook of McConnelsville, a step-son, Roger (Becky) Rowland of Zanesville, a brother, Andy (Mandy) Hook of McConnelsville, a sister, Karen (Jeff) Moody of McConnelsville, a grandson, Austin Rowland and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Rowland, mother, Florence Hook, 2 sister, Faye Hook and Irene Claypool.  Services will be held on Mon. Aug. 21, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Lebanon Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Sun, Aug. 20 from 1-3 and 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home on our web site or at the funeral home.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
