Beatrice Bunny Bennett

Beatrice Docia “Bunny” Bennett, 99, of Bartlett, passed away on Mon, Aug. 3, 2020 at the Harmar Place in Marietta.  She was born on April 14, 1921 in New England, Ohio to the late Addis J. and Dosha Hudson Gould.  She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bartlett United Methodist Church where she played the piano and was a Sunday school teacher.  She was also a member of the United Methodist Women, Bartlett Senior Citizens and was an avid quilter.  She is survived by 2 sons, Roy Dale (Linda) Bennett Jr. of Newport N.C. and James R. Bennett of Marietta, 1 daughter, Cynthia Jane Bennett of Waterford, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Bennett, a daughter, Anna LaVaughn Bennett, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 7 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bartlett Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Thursday, Aug 6 from 5-7 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bartlett Methodist Church or the Wesley Township Fire Dept.  The family would like to thank the Harmar Place for their great care and making Bunny one of their own.  A mask will be required for the visitation and recommended for the graveside.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
