Billy Joe Mick

Billy Jo Mick was born on December 11, 1939 in Bainbridge Ohio to the late Edgar and Rachel Vandemark Mick. Billy was a happy person and smiled a lot in which made everyone around him smile. Billy loved listening to his friend Neal McCoy's music especially Billy's got his beer goggles on and Charley Pride music. Billy has enjoyed visiting many places such as the Columbus Zoo, The Cass Railroad and the Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum. Billy will be missed by his family sisters Marian Kneisley and Rita Mick Shoemaker and his brother Burl Wayne Mick and a host of Nieces and nephews, all his staff past and present including special friends Lora Duvall and Karen King, His Nealbilly family with his very special friend Neal McCoy, All his staff and friends from the Mary Hammond Workshop, C.A.D.S, the MCBDD,Family Traditions and many friends all around Morgan County; Also his two roommates who have been by him for the past year. He was preceded in death by his parents his sister Sarah Ellen Mick Rhoades, Opals Ellis, Evelyn Mick Cottrill, and brother Ricky Lee Mick and a set of twin brothers. Billy will be truly missed by all that has met his but he has joined his family passed and his roommates whom have been together for more than 30 years until their passing last year. Billy passed on July 11, 2023 at age 83 years and 7 months and was laid to rest with his roommates and friends on July 13, 2023 at the McConnelsville cemetery in McConnelsville, Ohio.
